FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Find quick answers about custom signs, stickers, decals, artwork, online proofs, production, shipping, materials, custom product builders and portable sign rentals. Product-specific instructions and configuration requirements still live on the applicable product page.
Most standard products move through production quickly after artwork or proof approval. Complex fabrication, large quantities and project work may require additional lead time. The product page or quote will show the most relevant expectation.
Yes. Many repeatable Signpoint products can be configured and purchased online, including custom stickers, industrial labels, decals and an expanding library of custom-built products. More complex signage, installations and project work may use a structured quote instead so we can confirm the correct specifications before production.
Minimums depend on the product. Some custom products have a production minimum because setup, file preparation and manufacturing are required even for a single piece. For example, the current Custom Industrial Sticker builder applies a $30 minimum order before shipping and tax.
Yes. If you have a previous order number, SPT reference, customer part number or purchase-order reference, include it when ordering or contacting us. Keeping that information with the job makes repeat production much easier and helps us identify the correct artwork and configuration.
Yes. Selected Signpoint custom-product workflows include fields for customer part numbers, PO numbers and internal references so business and distributor orders can be tied back to your own procurement system.
Yes. Approved Signpoint business and distributor accounts can access commercial purchasing workflows and account pricing where applicable. Account eligibility, pricing and credit terms are reviewed based on the customer and purchasing relationship.
Yes. Signpoint works with single custom pieces as well as larger production runs, fleet requirements, multi-location programs and commercial projects. If every item is identical, many online builders automatically improve unit pricing with quantity; variable or project-based orders may be better handled through a coordinated quote.
Rush production is available on selected products when capacity and material availability allow. If a builder offers a Rush Production option, the applicable charge and production priority are shown before checkout. For critical deadlines, contact Signpoint before ordering.
File requirements depend on the product, but Signpoint commonly works with PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, PNG and JPG artwork. Vector artwork is preferred for logos, lettering and graphics that must scale cleanly, while high-resolution raster artwork may also be suitable depending on the finished size.
No. Some custom builders allow you to upload a finished production file, screenshot, photo or rough visual reference. Where available, you can request artwork reconstruction or preparation so Signpoint can turn the supplied reference into production-ready artwork.
Artwork reconstruction is a production service for customers who have a low-resolution logo, screenshot, photo, old decal or other reference that is not suitable for clean manufacturing. Signpoint recreates or cleans up the supplied artwork and sends an approval proof before it enters production when that service is selected.
Proof requirements vary by product. Products involving artwork reconstruction, layout work or important custom composition may require approval before production, while simple production-ready configurations may move forward without an additional proof delay. Selected builders also let you request a proof as part of the order.
When a proof is required, it remains tied to the same Signpoint job so you can review the current version, approve it or request changes without relying on long email chains. Once approved, the production artwork stays connected to the job and its production history.
Selected custom builders support proof communication by email and optional SMS. Enter accurate contact information during configuration so the correct person can receive artwork or approval notifications.
Check all spelling, phone numbers, URLs, measurements, quantities, part numbers, regulatory wording, colours and layout details that matter to the job. Approval tells Signpoint that the displayed content and configuration are ready for production, so carefully review customer-supplied information before approving.
The job remains in the artwork/prepress stage while the requested changes are reviewed. A revised proof can then be issued for approval. Production timing begins or resumes only after the required artwork decision has been completed.
Yes. Signpoint ships stickers, decals, labels, industrial signage, print products and other eligible products throughout Canada. Parcel shipping cost and available delivery services are determined from the package and destination at checkout.
Typical standard carrier transit is approximately 2–5 business days after production is complete, with expedited services of approximately 1–3 business days available for selected locations. These are carrier transit estimates and are separate from Signpoint production time.
Signpoint currently advertises free shipping on qualifying orders over $200 across Canada. Any active shipping offer and applicable eligibility are reflected through the current storefront and checkout experience.
Yes. Local pickup is available for completed orders in Lloydminster. Wait until your order has been confirmed ready before arriving so production and packing are complete.
Yes. Signpoint accepts international business and ecommerce orders. Shipping options depend on the product dimensions, destination and available carrier service; duties, brokerage, taxes and import requirements may also apply depending on the destination.
Yes. Large rigid signs, bulk production, palletized orders and commercial project shipments can be coordinated by freight rather than ordinary parcel service. Signpoint can arrange an appropriate freight service or work with your preferred carrier, freight account or logistics provider.
Yes. For eligible commercial shipments, contact Signpoint with your preferred carrier, freight account information, destination and receiving requirements. We can coordinate pickup or handoff rather than forcing the shipment through a standard ecommerce carrier option.
Contact Signpoint promptly with your order number or SPT reference, a description of the issue and clear photos of the product and packaging. Shipping damage and production issues are much easier to resolve when the original packaging and documentation are retained for review.
A Signpoint Custom Builder is an online configuration tool that lets you define the real production details of a custom product before checkout. Depending on the product, this can include exact size, artwork, materials, construction, colours, fonts, quantities, backing, proof preferences and other manufacturing options.
Yes, when the builder is configured for instant pricing. The price is calculated from the product options you have selected, including factors such as size, quantity, material and construction. Shipping and applicable taxes are calculated separately later in the checkout process.
Many Signpoint custom products use volume pricing. Larger quantities spread setup and production work across more pieces, so the unit price can improve automatically as the production run becomes more efficient. The builder shows the current price based on your exact configuration.
Many builders allow both common size presets and exact custom dimensions. Available ranges depend on the material and product being manufactured, so the builder will show the sizing options available for that item.
The purpose of the preview depends on the builder. Live lettering and template-driven products may calculate real physical dimensions from the selected configuration, while artwork-upload products use the uploaded file as the production reference. Final production still follows the validated job configuration and artwork attached to the order.
Custom jobs are tied to the Signpoint order and production record, which can include an SPT reference, artwork files, customer part numbers and PO references. Keeping those identifiers makes future reorders and revisions much easier.
Contact Signpoint. The online builder library is expanding, but custom signage, decals, labels, vehicle graphics, commercial signs and specialized industrial products can still be produced through a structured quote or project workflow.
Signpoint operates a growing portable-sign network across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Additional surrounding communities may be available by request.
Portable Sign Rentals are designed as a managed advertising service. Signpoint coordinates professional full-colour graphics, setup, placement and applicable permitting requirements for the selected rental location. Available options and pricing vary by market.
Rental terms and monthly pricing are displayed on the applicable location product. Monthly subscription billing continues according to the rental plan selected at checkout, and initial production/setup charges are handled separately where applicable.
Yes. If you already have production-ready artwork, provide it with the order. If you need help creating an effective portable-sign message, Signpoint can assist with artwork and graphic preparation before production.
Yes. Active rental customers can order replacement graphics when they want to promote a new offer, hiring campaign, event or message. The new graphic production/change charge is separate from the ongoing rental.
Yes. Signpoint offers Night Light, an off-grid solar-powered illumination option for portable sign rentals where available. The current published Night Light rate is $150 per month.
Yes. Signpoint currently advertises multi-sign campaign savings, including reduced setup costs for qualifying three- and five-sign packages, with custom planning available for campaigns of six or more signs.
Yes. Signpoint is expanding its rental network. Submit the requested community and placement requirements and we can confirm service availability, delivery requirements and location-specific pricing.
The right material depends on how long the sign needs to last, how it will be mounted and the environment it will face. Common Signpoint constructions include direct-apply outdoor vinyl, reflective films, rigid composite panels and other materials selected for the actual application rather than using one substrate for every job.
Vinyl is an adhesive graphic applied directly to a compatible surface. A rigid sign combines the printed or applied graphic with a physical panel such as ACM, aluminum, styrene or coroplast, allowing the finished sign to be mechanically mounted or installed independently of the surface behind it.
ACM, or aluminum composite material, is a rigid sign panel made with thin aluminum faces bonded to a lightweight core. It provides a flat, durable surface and is commonly used for commercial, industrial, directional and site signage where a rigid panel is preferred.
Corrugated plastic—commonly called coroplast—is lightweight and economical. It is well suited to temporary and short-to-medium-term signage such as yard signs, event signage, construction messaging and promotional applications where the cost and low weight are advantages.
Reflective material is intended for applications where visibility under headlights or other directed light matters. It is commonly used for safety identification, equipment markings, traffic-related applications and outdoor signs where low-light recognition is important.
Yes. Selected custom products can be manufactured with magnetic backing for removable mounting to compatible ferrous steel surfaces. Magnetic material is not suitable for aluminum, fiberglass, plastic or other non-magnetic substrates.
Yes. If you're unsure whether you need vinyl, reflective material, ACM, aluminum, coroplast, magnetic, styrene or another construction, tell us where the product will be installed, how long it needs to last, whether it will move and what environmental exposure it will see. We can recommend a more appropriate construction.

Yes. Many Signpoint products support low quantities or even single custom pieces, although minimum production charges may apply. For larger quantities, the unit cost often improves through volume pricing.
